Popcorn

Popcorn is an older chestnut pony mare with a lifetime of experience as a children’s mount, making her an ideal pony for young riders. Standing at 12.1 hh, Popcorn is very well-broke, dependable, and confident, having carried kids both on-site and off-site for pony rides, lessons, camps, and petting farm visits. Popcorn is middle of the pecking order, comfortable in a herd setting, and a reliable ride who enjoys her work. Jesse

Jesse is a 19-year-old chestnut Quarter Horse gelding with extensive experience and lots of buttons, making him a versatile and enjoyable ride. Standing at 15.2 hh, Jesse is retired from OBRA barrel racing. In 2024, he qualified for the Royal Winter Fair Rodeo and won a go-round in the pickup race at the Ram Rodeo finals. For 5 years, he has enjoyed his new job is as a Canadian Cowgirls equine team member with experience in parades, performances at some of the largest equine expos, as well as rodeos. He teaches new barrel racers and pole benders in our speed lessons and used in our skill-based lessons. Forward, well-broke, and confident, Jesse is fun to ride and reliable, ready for a kid moving up a level in barrel racing, experienced or intermediate rider who appreciates a skilled, responsive mount.
