2-hour Horse Connection

For all you horse lovers out there!!  

 TJ Stables would love to share these experiences with you. Not only do  you get the one hour guided horseback tour throughout our woodland trails we are yours for the two hours to answer any questions you may have and give you more hands on experiences. This two hour experience is for ages 8 and over.
Make it a date for an outing with your girlfriends or a Anniversary gift for your loved one.

About
  • For those who want a more relaxed opportunity to learn more about horses, bond and connect with your horse. Perfect for horse lovers, young or the nervous riders.
  • Hug, pet, Groom, prepare and care for your horse before your one hour trail ride and show your horse your appreciation when you return from your ride. Very popular. Indoor facility available for inclement weather.
  • The trail ride is a one hour long guided trail ride on scenic woodland trails with friendly, knowledge staff.
  • Our horses are gentle and trustworthy. This experience is appropriate for beginner to advanced riders.

  • Reservations are required
  • No previous riding experience is necessary!
  • Participants must be 8 years or older
  • Trails are open all year round weather permitting
  • Our indoor arena is available if you would like to ride indoors
  • A minimum of two riders is needed to book a trail ride
  • Additional experience optional - post-ride campfire!
WHAT TO KNOW
  • There is a per-rider weight limit of 250 pounds
  • According to Ontario law, all riders participating in horseback riding activities must wear helmets regardless of age. You may bring your own certified horseback riding helmet or use one of ours. No bicycle helmets permitted.
  • Absolutely no sandals, crocs or flats allowed for children or adults. A running shoe or boot with a small heel is preferred.
  • Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the property.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Long pants are recommended
All riders with special needs (both physical and developmental needs) are welcome at TJ Stable's fully wheel chair accessible facility. Gentle, trustworthy horses and patient, caring staff. We are able to assist riders to mount, and in cases where needed we have a lift for riders in wheelchairs or with balance issues.
 Contact TJ Stables in advance at for booking riders with special needs in order for staff to assess what is needed and be able to accommodate their needs to provide the best possible safe ride.
